Commissioning
During
an installation the key area to ensure a working system is in commissioning.
This is usually where the customer first sees the system and will invariably
have many comments and questions. We work closely with you to ensure
your complete satisfaction of the control system from the operational
requirements through to the colour scheme of the graphical display.
Customers are invited
to Factory Acceptance Testing before delivery to site. During these tests
the Inputs and Outputs of the system will be checked. Sometimes it is
necessary to simulate the controlled devices at this stage if the Switch
Boards are already installed on site. Full documentation is provided
as a record of the tests.
The System is then
installed on site and a further series of tests are carried out, again
with the customer witnessing each key stage of the process. Once completed
the system is functionally tested including demonstrating correct operation
even when various faults are induced, such as incorrect signals, broken
connections etc. The last stage is a final operational test on the building,
carried out to prove all of the controls work as designed. This is also
fully documented and added to the Operation and Maintenance Manuals
at handover.
Site staff are then
fully trained in the Triplex System and refresher courses are always
available for new staff. |
